On March 14, 2025, President Donald Trump visited the Department of Justice (DOJ) in a high-profile event that underscored his administration's commitment to tackling crime, securing borders, and protecting American citizens. The event, hosted by former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, highlighted the administration's achievements and future plans in the fight against drugs, gangs, and illegal immigration.
A Warm Welcome to the DOJ
The event began with Pam Bondi welcoming attendees to the Department of Justice. She expressed her pride in the DOJ team, acknowledging key figures such as Todd Blanche, Emil Bovee, Kash Patel, and Gaddy Seralta. Bondi emphasized the administration's dedication to keeping America safe, stating, "We are going to fight to keep America safe again." (M.A.S.A.)
Bondi also thanked federal, state, and local law enforcement officers for their tireless efforts in maintaining safety across the nation. She highlighted the importance of their work, saying, "They keep us safe every day and night."
A New Chapter in American Justice
Tackling the Fentanyl Crisis
One of the key focuses of the event was the administration's efforts to combat the fentanyl crisis. Bondi praised President Trump for prioritizing this issue, stating, "President Trump has prioritized tackling our nation's fentanyl crisis, and he has taken decisive action to fight it."
She introduced Boston's DEA strike team, which has been instrumental in seizing drugs and illegal weapons off the streets. Since January, the team has saved millions of lives by removing dangerous substances from circulation. Bondi emphasized the lethal nature of fentanyl, showcasing 180 kilograms of a simulated fentanyl display on stage. She explained that just one kilogram of fentanyl in its pure form could kill half a million people, while the 180 kilograms on display could potentially kill 90 million people—equivalent to the population of California, Texas, and Florida combined.
Angel Moms: A Heartbreaking Reminder
The event also featured emotional stories from angel moms, mothers who have lost children to drug overdoses or violent crimes committed by illegal aliens. Bondi introduced Ann, who lost her 15-year-old son after he took a Percocet laced with fentanyl at school. She also shared the story of Tammy, whose daughter Kayla was murdered by an illegal alien from El Salvador.
Bondi assured the audience that under President Trump's leadership, such tragedies would be prevented. "Thanks to the directive of Donald Trump, they will all be deported very soon," she said, referring to illegal aliens involved in criminal activities.

POTUS' Vision for Law Enforcement Reform
After Bondi's remarks, she invited President Trump to the podium. The President began by thanking Bondi and the DOJ team, calling them "the people that are doing it." He praised Bondi's work as Florida's Attorney General and her ongoing contributions to the administration.
"We're turning the page on four long years of corruption, weaponization, and surrender to violent criminals," Trump stated. "And we're restoring fair, equal, and impartial justice under the constitutional rule of law."
The President introduced his team of appointees who will lead the Department of Justice and related agencies:
Pam Bondi - Attorney General
Kash Patel - FBI Director
Todd Blanche - Deputy Attorney General
Emil Bovee - Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General
Chad Mizell - Chief of Staff
Terry Cole - DEA Administrator
Leo Terrell - Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights
POTUS praised his appointees for their resilience and effectiveness, noting that he had witnessed them perform under tremendous pressure. "I saw these guys under some of the most corrupt judges. It's not even imaginable how corrupt they were. And these guys never wilted."
POTUS also highlighted the importance of restoring fair, equal, and impartial justice under the constitutional rule of law. He criticized the previous administration for its handling of crime and corruption, stating, "We're turning the page on four long years of corruption, weaponization, and surrender to violent criminals."
A New Chapter for the DOJ and FBI
President Trump announced that under his administration, the DOJ and FBI would once again become the premier crime-fighting agencies in the world. He introduced key figures leading these efforts, including Kash Patel, the new director of the FBI, and Todd Blanche and Emil Bovey, who serve as Deputy Attorney General and Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General, respectively.
Trump praised these individuals for their resilience and dedication, particularly in the face of corrupt judges and challenging circumstances. "They never wilted. They fought. They weren't afraid. And they were brilliant," he said.
A Focus on Border Security and Drug Enforcement
The President emphasized his administration's commitment to securing the nation's borders and combating drug cartels. He praised the work of Boston's DEA strike team, which Bondi had earlier introduced as "one of the most effective drug-seizing teams in the entire country."
"Under the last administration, cartels, criminals, they freely walked in and out of our country with impunity," Trump asserted. "No longer. Under Donald Trump, they live in fear and they better live in fear because we're coming after all of them."
The President contrasted his approach with the previous administration's, stating that his team would take decisive action against criminal organizations. "Under the Trump administration, the DOJ and the FBI will once again become the premier crime-fighting agencies on the face of the Earth."
A Promise of Action
The President concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of continued efforts to secure borders, fight cartels, and protect American citizens. He reiterated his commitment to deporting criminal illegal aliens and locking up those who pose a threat to the country. When asked about his plans for law enforcement, he said, "I've already done most of it by appointing the people that I've appointed. They're sitting right here."
"We are so proud to work at the directive of Donald Trump," Bondi added, echoing the President's sentiments.
